This project involved the demolition and site stabilization of an existing industrial facility to prepare the property for future redevelopment. The work included complete building demolition, coordination with the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), site grading and stabilization, and installation of new perimeter security fencing. Extensive planning, permitting, and phased execution ensured public safety while maintaining site security throughout the demolition process.

Scope Overview:

  • Managed demolition permitting and coordination, including CDOT sidewalk closures, engineered demolition planning, and public safety requirements.

  • Performed complete demolition and removal of existing industrial buildings, including structural steel, masonry, roofing systems, mechanical equipment, and miscellaneous site structures.

  • Stabilized the site through selective slab modifications, pit infill, stone placement, grading, and drainage improvements to prepare the property for future development.

  • Installed over 550 linear feet of new 8-foot galvanized chain-link security fencing with black privacy windscreen, concrete-set posts, and secure access gates.

  • Reinforced approximately 1,100 linear feet of existing perimeter fencing with new structural posts, rails, and windscreen to improve long-term site security.

  • Completed miscellaneous site improvements including temporary fencing, barricades, dust control, drainage enhancements, and additional stone placement to address field conditions.
